I just wanted to let everyone know that Jen's next MRI is now scheduled for June 24th. She is feeling really good and is her usual sassy self! She has been dancing like crazy, and has done two dance competitions so far. Her solo this year is to "Can't stop Dancing"  and it is probably one of my favorites. She also has a small group dance, a large group dance, and two large groups with the whole team. We are having a great time wantching her and cheering on the team.

We are also in the midst of planning for the 5k. I have put all of the details on the 5K page as well as the registration form and sponsorship form that can be downloaded. We need lots of fundraisers if we are going to beat last year's total. You can also fundraise even if you are not participating in the race. We are so excited that our money raised from last year went to 5 Grants for all low grade and JPA research. All five of these research projects have potential to help Jenna directly. We also found out that the lobbying that I did over a year ago has paid off as well! The senate approved the language that we submitted and in turn the National Institutes of Health has already worked up a research plan for low grade Gliomas!  YEAH!!!! These are huge steps, and I know with our amazing friends, family, and community we can continue to do great things to help all children that have been diagnosed with this tumor type. Thank you to all who have helped us and to continue to support us. You will never know how much this means to our family!
